With the brilliant sets, effective aliens, witty dialogue and cool effects, each episode is like a short feature film."

Farscape boasts one of the most impressive pedigrees you'll find on television. With cinematic production values and art direction, there is nothing more beautiful than an episode of Farscape.

Filmed in Australia, using the same talent pool that pulls big-budget films like "The Matrix" and "Star Wars" down to Oz, Farscape pushes the envelope on what television can look like.

These are the people who have created one of the most visually stunning and unique television shows ever to grace our screens:

The Jim Henson Company -- Best known as the creators of The Muppets (now at Disney), The Jim Henson Company has long been recognized as a top source of imaginative and fantastical storytelling. A worldwide leader in puppetry, animatronics, and computer graphics, The Jim Henson Company has won over 50 Emmy Awards.

Brian Henson, co-CEO of The Jim Henson Company, and son of the founder, is one of Farscape's Executive Producers, as well as the Director of the new mini-series "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars."

Farscape's creator, Rockne S. O'Bannon, began his career as story editor with "The New Twilight Zone" in the early 80s. He then went on to create the hit film "Alien Nation", and the futuristic "Seaquest DSV" for Steven Spielberg and NBC TV. Rockne returned to co-write the new mini-series "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars".

David Kemper, Farscape's Executive Producer, has worked on more than a dozen science fiction series in his career, including stints on "Star Trek: The Next Generation", "Seaquest DSV", "Stargate SG-1", and "The Outer Limits." David returned to co-write and serve as Executive Producer on the new mini-series "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars".

Jim Henson's Creature Shops, winners of two Academy Awards, created Farscape's animatronic characters -- the giant Pilot, and the diminutive Rygel -- as well as the vast array of unique and bizarre creatures that people Farscape's universe and make it different from any other sci-fi series you'll ever encounter.

Several members of the Creature Shop, recently formed their own company for animatronic, creature character design, and prosthetic make-up and costuming, Image Creative Partnership (imagecreative.net), but returned as

the Creature Shop Sydney for "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars". Image Creative's recent work can also be found on Star Wars III and Silent Witness VII.

Hallmark Entertainment -- Well known as a leader in family and fantasy entertainment, Hallmark Entertainment is the world's leading producer of mini-series and movies made for television. Hallmark Entertainment productions have won 97 Emmy Awards and 13 Golden Globes.

Hallmark Entertainment's President and CEO, Robert Halmi, Jr. has served as one of Farscape's Executive Producers over the run of the series. Mr. Halmi's other credits include "Dinotopia" and "Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years".

Hallmark and Mr. Halmi continue to be a key part of the up-coming "Peacekeeper Wars" mini-series.

Animal Logic -- Australia's visual effects leader, Animal Logic has contributed visual effects to visually striking films such as "Moulin Rouge", "The Lord of the Rings", "The Matrix", "Charlotte Gray", and "Thin Red Line".
Animal Logic's Farscape team helped define Farscape's look as unique, vast, complex, beautiful and mind-blowing.
