How far would you go to return home? And how much would
you give up to save it? It's a story unlike any other. You
will see things you have never seen before. If this sounds
like a big story, it is. It's so big, they had to set it
against the stars. The name of the story is Farscape. We
invite you to watch.

This TV show has something for everyone. Take a moment
to think about what you enjoy most about your favorite TV
show... Got it? Good. Farscape got it too. Adventure...
Heroes... Villains... Sexual tension... Romance... Intellect....
Conflict.... Humor... Hope.

You have no idea where you are, but it is clear that your
are a long, long way from home. You have no money, no food,
no change of underwear ... No one like you has ever stepped
foot in this place before. Some of the local folk are friendly;
others are not. You are as strange to them as they are to
you ... Now you know how John Crichton feels.
--Carrie G.
Farscape is not a television show. Farscape
is a story that is as real as you believe it to be. You
can cry with it, laugh with it, and care for it.
Farscape touches something that makes you want to touch
back.

It's Cirque du Soleil in zero gravity. From gorgeous prosthetic
makeup, to elaborate sets and stunning special effects,
you are taken to a world of all-encompassing alien beauty.
The attention to detail is phenomenal.

Every epic begins with a simple concept. It is the journey
of the human soul in its pursuit of a dream. The initial
inspiration may be the tangible return to hearth and home.
Beginnings are full of flash, bravado and all that one might
expect. Time, experience, adventure and peril all come to
adjust the envisioned. The hero learns that his existence
is not the heart of the story, he is but a player in the
game. He discovers that he must make sacrifices, face the
terrors in the shadows and grasp love with all his being.
Life becomes a matter of compromising morals in order to
survive. Simple decisions take on new proportions. The hero
is humbled. The hero is changed. The hero is human. Farscape
is the story of one human who must be thrown across the
universe to find his place in life...
--Michelle G.
It's a tale of epic adventure. There's a hero and a villain,
a home and a hearth, a priest and a warrior, a thief and
a king. There's also a girl. Every good story needs a girl.
Except none of that's exactly right... Farscape is The Odyssey
on acid. This ain't your mama's Naked Lunch, nor is it Pride
and Prejudice. It's a little bit of both. It's love and
duty, family and exploration, hope and heartache, and what
it really means to make your way through life. Oh, and I
mentioned the spaceship, right?
--Thea
On Earth he was an astronaut, a scientist, a son, a brother,
a lover. Now, in a distant Universe, he is a warrior, a
fugitive and a reluctant guardian of time and space. Whether
he wants it or not he has the power to shape civilizations
or destroy them. And with great power comes great responsibility.
He must guard his knowledge, his power. From his enemies.
From himself.

T.V. shows have come and gone, and I've had my favorites
along the way, but nothing really touches the magic that
is Farscape. Between the writing, the actors, the filming,
the production and the special effects, you get a feeling
right away that this is a far above average television show.
